Wild Seed by Octaqcia E. Butler

My pesonal favorite book is "Wild Seed" by Octaqcia E. Butler.

When one thinks back to the day when women gave birth to 12 children with only a midwife and no medication. Soon after worked in the fields with baby on her back came home and cooked dinner only to do the same thing again the next day at sunrise.

We say "wow" she was super woman. Anyanwu is that woman. She is the woman today in her own right. We just can not see it. Anyanwu is the thing that is inside of all women. We change into diffrent shapes and sizes all the time to fit what is benificial to us at that time.

Anyanwu has lived for many years and has birthed and fathered many children. Anyanwu can transform into anything that she forces herself to be and cannot BE KILLED.

However, Doro is all that is male: He posses, seduces, hunts, and kills raising armies and bending empires at his will. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that he cannot DIE.

This is a story about love and hatred that endures for decades. And in their mating battle burns the destiny of the world in which we live in today.

Doro is the man that she loves but, like I always say there is only so much that I am going to put up with. Because Anyyanwu was the type of woman that we today would call STRONG. And Doro would be that one man who could tame her. Until that day when she had too much, and he knew it. She gave him the ultimatum of what she would deal with and what she could not. She then let him decide.

Women, grab your favorite pair of womens reading glasses and get ready for a tale of all women. We have more power than we know when we stop lowering ourselves to a level in which we o not belong. We can change any way that we want. We can mother and father children. We cannot be KILLED. And he cannot DIE.
From a womans point of view
