Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

My favorite book of all time is the classic "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott.

I was introduced to this book in elementary school. We were given the book to read, and then we had a special night where we gathered with our families to watch the movie based on the book.

I was enchanted by the book then, and the enchantment still remains today when I read it. I loved Jo, the rowdy, tom boy sister who was always getting into trouble.

I loved reading the various love stories for each of the girls, and I cried along with them when their young sister died.

The way that Alcott writes pulls me into the book and makes me all in love with the characters. I also enjoyed it because it took place in an earlier time, and I love history. It was a great way to learn about the past!

While I didn't need them when I first read the book, I now put on my scojo reading glasses to comfortably read these. I like the classic styles, they just makes me feel more in the "era" of the story.
