Tough Time Finding My EyeGlasses

I do not enjoy shopping. Since I have no sense of style I have to bring my wife along to make sure that I do not end up looking like Bozo the Clown. Since this is the case I always put off shopping for things like reading glasses. It was about 5 years since I had my eyes checked & a new prescription filled.

After falling asleep with my glasses on & bending them (again) we decided that a new pair was necessary. Even I agreed.

After checking all the local, independent stores we started out to the mall. I did not have a price in mind, just something that did not make me look like a geek. After striking out at the mall, we headed to the highways.

The major “lens” stores did not have anything worthwhile and we decided to shelve the idea for the moment, grab a late lunch, and do some other shopping that had to be done.

We ended up at Sears for our shopping. On my way to the tool section I noticed the eyeglass department. I must have been in the store a hundred times & never noticed it before. But now it all makes sense. What better place to find mens reading glasses than next to the tool section?

Surprisingly, after briefly browsing their selection, I was able find a pair of glasses that looked good. The glasses were also on sale. They were able to examine me on the spot. I am very happy with the purchase.
