My Eyesight is not so bad, but still..

I don't have to wear glasses all the time, in other words, I can see without them if I need to, so I'm not nearly as bad off as some people.

I still don't truly enjoy wearing them though. The main problem is that when they get dirty, they are a real detriment to seeing well.

I also do not like switching between regular glasses and sunglasses. I also have to make sure I don't lose, scratch or forget them. They are way too expensive, because I like the designer reading glasses. If I'm going to wear them, I like to look as good as I can wearing them.

Soon, I will be checking into getting LASIK surgery. In the past, I have been told that I am not a likely candidate for the surgery, but I am going to go get a second opinion.

It would be absolutely wonderful to have a successful surgery and be virtually free from glasses for the rest of my life! Unfortunately, according to the surgeon Lasik would only be a temporary solution for me and I would still require reading glasses in the future.
