My Drill Sergeant Stepped On My Glasses

I have purchased the most awesome, inexpensive eyeglasses ever. I typically do not like to wear eyeglasses, but these make me want to wear them all the time. I purchased them from the Target store.

I am a male so they were in the men's section. They made me look intellectual. (tip: When going for the male intellectual look, consider a pair of thin framed glasses with attention to detail, such as the Peek Performer by Eyebobs)

I went off to the Marine Corps, wearing them. The drill instructors had us on line, playing games. We had to quickly remove our shirts and then put them back on. In the process of this wonderful game, my eyeglasses fell off onto the floor. My drill instructor saw this and intentionally stepped on them and broke them.

I was very upset, but not going to show it. I was blind for about a week until I was issued a very nice set of birth control glasses. I really miss the ones I purchased from Target.
