Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner

My absolute favorite book is called "Little Earthquakes" and was written by Jennifer Weiner. This book is referred to as "chic-lit", because it's almost like a Lifetime Movie in a Novel.. Perfect for women!

The book is about 4 women, Ayinde, Becky, Kelly and Lia, each with varying lifestyles, but they all have one thing in common- they have had a baby.

The book's chapters are not labeled by number, but by each characters name. It's easy to delve into each character's life, without getting confused. One character is married to a celebrity and he tests her trust at a vital time in her life.

Another character has suffered the loss of a child, and it brings you through her emotional rollercoaster. Another character has to deal with an unemployed husband who feels content in channel surfing rather than finding a job. And the last character seems to have the perfect life, aside from her obnoxious Mother-in-law.

All of these characters have Philadelphia in common, and what I LOVE the most about this book is that in the start, these characters do not know each other. But by the end of the book, they become best friends.

The book is a journey for women, and it's hard to put down. Jennifer Weiner really knows how to write! Her novels are funny, heartwarming, and true to home for some women. I love this book, and it will continue to be my favorite for years to come.
