I love my Clic Reading Glasses

I admit, It was a challenge coming to grips with the fact that I needed to wear reading glasses. I mean I had perfect vision my whole life! (well up until recently). I was always the guy who could read road signs from far away, pass eye exams with no issues what so-ever. Until I turned 41, then the newspaper started to get fuzzy. I fought the prospect of needing reading glasses for some time, then I finally borrowed a friends when we out to dinner and realized the amazing difference they can make.

I figured, oh well. I got through my first 40 + years without needing any form of vision correction. Readers are not so bad. (It did get me to visit my eye doctor again, she said it was from a condition called presbyopia and everybody gets it at some point, usually right around 40 years.)

I got a couple pairs of mens reading glasses, and started to realize that they are kind of fun to wear. Putting on eyeglasses can really change your appearance. I thought it was pretty cool because I never had any sort of accessory to play with before.

But when it came to pure practicality, the best pair I have found are called clic reading glasses. I got a pair in blue, just because. I figure, if I am going to wear them, I better have fun with them. They take the concept of a chain, but make it better. The glasses have a magnetic clip at the nose. When I don't need them, I just let them dangle around my neck. When I need them, they are right there. These things are genius!
