I Learned to Love My Glasses

I only needed eyeglasses for reading, but it was such a hassle to take them on and off during school that I started to wear them all the time and I unfortunately became dependent on them. Now, I actually like them!

I have a stylish pair from Scojo that get me a lot of compliments. They are thin metal frames that are dark pewter-like color, but also can look almost gold when the light hits them a certain way.

They accentuate my eyes because they are shaped differently than my face shape — there are five edges around the lenses. They smoothly peak right above my pupils. The arch along the top of the frame follows my eyebrow arch, as well. I have bought the same frames three times, as it is SO hard to switch to something new when I am still in love with these! I think it might also have to do with giving up the compliments that I love so much!
