Favorite Poems for Young Readers

Frost, Robert, author. Holt, Henry, publisher. Cox, Hyde, foreward. Nason, Thomas W., illustrator. You Come Too, Favorite Poems for Young Readers . (1959).
This is a Traditional Collection of Poems in chapter form
Summary:
From “The Road Not Taken” to my favorite, “Dust of Snow” this collection of poems represents Frost’s interest in nature, including plants, animals, and trees. The settings are mainly rural, with each poem, short or long, telling a unique story. Robert Frost is a much loved and widely read American poet. To critique his work is a task I am unworthy of.

The collection chosen for “Young Readers” appears to be well picked and comes from an author who is young at heart. The collection centers on the theme of nature. The poems throughout the collection meet the theme and cultivate themselves together to bring forth a true “garden of verses.” These poems are like old friends. While I no longer consider myself a "young reader", I do slip on my reading glasses and return to these poems continually. They bring me comfort, joy, and peace.
