Troublesome pieces on your reading glasses
Do you have a pair of reading glasses that you love but constantly seem to need to tighten the screws on them or replace the nosepad? This is common after readers have been worn for a while, parts loosen up and can even fall off. What's a guy or gal to do?
The simple solution is clear nail polish. Just put a dab over the screw once you've tightened it or inside the nose pad before you slide it back on to the frame of your glasses. Clear nail polish dries quickly and is easy to clean up. You can usually just swipe any excess off with your finger when you're done putting it on the area and wash your hands. It is not as messy as superglue and you won't end up ruining your glasses and hurting the skin on your fingers in the process.
